Case Studies

  • A literacy non-profit needed a fundraising event that would attract new donor members and raise the profile of the organization.  We worked with a fundraising team to find sponsorship for 100% of the cost of the event and developed a marketing communications plan for on and offline media to promote the event and sell tickets.  We also managed the event itself, which included a live contest, and recorded the event for use in future marketing campaigns.

  • A telecomm company was launching a new flagship VoIP product at a national Agent convention, with the goal of signing new Agents to sell the product.   There was no online presence for the product other than a demo, and no collateral.  In less than eight weeks we developed a video-intensive website and accompanying print collateral.  We wrote all of the copy for the website, produced all of the video, project managed the IT and design—and launched on-time.  The resulting website helped generate stories about the new product in the national trade press, increased the number of partner-Agents who signed with the company and helped drive sales for the new product.

  •  The Telecomm company outsourced its customer service department, creating discontent among many customers.  Druid Media created a customer retention campaign called “Ask A Colleague", which highlighted happy, satisfied customers in a video, print and online campaign.  We produced more than 40 customer testimonials in print and in video and generated several video series to support “Ask A Colleague”, including “Customer Shout-outs” and “At Work”, as well as a series of video emails that the sales force used to send to potential customers.  The videos were used online on a YouTube channel; on the website under a newly created Testimonial section—and by upper management in investor presentations and sales conventions. We also developed a marketing program that used the current customer videos to solicit new customer testimonials and profile (and hence promote) current customers.

  • A non-profit agency for children's literacy needed an online presence to help attract new donors, reach potential recipients and promote a new fundraising event.  We created a website that highlighted the recipients, which helped donors understand where their donations were going and how those donations impacted the children.  We used photos and video of the children as well as scanned thank-you notes from the kids to build profiles.  Then we added online donation links as well as information about volunteering for the recipient groups.  Finally, we built an online presence for the fundraiser and employed social media campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIn to drive ticket sales.

  •  A trade organization tasked Druid Media with integrating a new branding message across its website and creating new customer testimonials that reflected the new branding. We also developed a series of interviews with staff members, extending the theme of the new branding message, for use as product collateral.

  • A cable company was rolling out a new high-speed Internet product, at twice the current rate of its other products.  Druid Media suggested the need for content to justify the increased price and created the first Internet site for web cinema for the company’s cable system (a site which required purchase of the new Internet product to view).  The site went to one million viewers a week within six month of launch and received feature stories in the New York Times and multiple media outlets.  Based on the success of this site we were asked by other cable and satellite companies in the U.S. and Europe to create similar film sites for their systems, and these sites shot to number one in their systems.
